This was my first experience with the click highlighters. I assumed that retracting the tip when not using it would extend the life of the highlighter better than the old fashioned ones. I was wrong. I actually find these dry out faster, giving me only about 4 hours of usage before there was a noticeable decrease in the color saturation.
