These work great. They don't bleed, and dry pretty quick. The biggest issue I have, besides cost, is they get used up pretty quick when doing a fair amount of highlighting. Because they are quick drying they work pretty well on the glossy textbook pages too, the ones that weigh 45lbs and take up your entire book bag.

I've used this type of highlighter on my bibles for a long time and have loved them. They work perfectly on the super thin bible pages.

Ultimately for textbook highlighting however, I've switched over to the big barreled sharpie highlighters, which seem to be able to go on forever.
